The Good News:

A study conducted by the University of Bonn and the German Institute for Economic Research in Berlin found that the willingness to take risks directly affects the choice of occupation and the belief level in one’s self. People who actively pursue their dreams and take risks are far less cautious.

The same study found that people who take risks are more content with their lives. The study concluded that short term pleasure and happiness displaces pain, but long term joy and fulfillment embraces pain. The overcoming of obstacles in pursuit of one’s passion and dream leads to more happiness and fulfillment.
